| Virtual
College: Re-engaging Young People |
|
|
WE
AIM
To
create learning environments in which the
young people can feel safe and secure to
enable them to recognise their own
strengths, thereby enhancing their
self-esteem.
|
|
| To
use computers and the Internet to provide
our young people with access to education
anywhere, anytime, across the City of
Birmingham. |
|
| To
develop individual learning programmes for
each young person and provide them with a
curriculum tailored to their specific
learning needs including key skills, basic
skills, PSHE and work related learning. |
|
| To
use a range of teaching strategies including
1-2-1 sessions small group work, on-line
learning and work experience in order to
build the young person’s confidence to
engage in appropriate future learning
opportunities when they leave the Virtual
College. |
